Here the water could be dispensed directly from a reservoir, or it could be filtered and then dispensed out from the unit. Whereas in advance settings, water can be cooled as well as heated up, and then dispensed.
How does a Water Dispenser Work
The dispenser is used for the user convenience, and it has been adopted for office as well as residential purposes too.
As we already mentioned before that there are different types of dispenser systems made available in the market. We will check out all of them in this section.
The different types of Water Dispenser and their working is explained as follows:
Mounted Water Dispenser
Here the dispenser is mounted on a wall, or simply just placed on the wall. Water directly from the main line is fed into it. In this dispenser system, water is neither heated nor cooled; just it is simply dispensed through a dispenser valve.
One of the best examples of the mounted water dispensers are the mountains. The ones which are used in the theme park, or garden areas.
The water offered by the municipal water supply is just dispensed here. You won’t find any filtration process performed too.
Point-of-use Water Dispenser
This water dispenser can also be called as an Advance Mounted Dispenser. Here the dispenser is connected to the main water supply line, and it can be set up for office as well as home needs.
This machine type usually performs filtering process and then dispenses the filtered water to you. Maintenance is found to be low here since the water is being provided from the main line only.
Most of the point-of-use system come along with the operations of heating, cooling. Along with this, you can also store water within it. This type of dispenser requires electricity for the working of it.
Bottled Water Dispenser
Now the final model is the Bottled Water Dispenser.
It is similar to the previous system regarding operation and working. But the significant difference is that, instead of connecting the unit to the main water supply, this bottled water dispenser is connected with bottled water.
So, the water which is fed into Bottled dispenser is more filtered one compared to the main water supply.
Checking the working part, here you have to just turn a knob to get the water dispensed. This same method is adopted in the point-of-use dispenser units.
So, these are the different types of dispenser units available at present. The purpose remains the same, and that is to dispense water. But the methods adopted and the source of the water are the changing factors here.
