How to Make a Water Fountain at Home
Water Fountains are mostly kept on the gardening side, while these days you will find both indoor as well as outdoor fountains. Demands have been pretty much the same for both the types, but most of them are for the Outdoor setup.
You can use the same fountain for both indoors as well as outdoors. Also, you don’t require too many materials for the setup.
One easy Water Fountain making using the Flower Pots!
You need to have 3 terra cotta saucers each of 4 inches, and 6 by 4 inches flower pots for the fountain making. Accompanied by a silicone sealant, 1/2 inches rubber tubing, round file, and a masonry bit.
Start off with the base, by spraying out the sealant thing on it. Apply a three coating thing, and then give in some time for drying. After this drill out holes of 1/2 inches on the 7 inches saucers. Later you could file some downward angle on the 7 inches, 6 inches and one among the 4 inches saucers.
Next step is to assemble the fountain by placing the pump on the 14 inches saucer, and then trim out the extra tube if you find it and then seal out the edges. After this, finish out the procedure similarly for the rest of the fountains. For better stabilizing the whole fountain thing, you could glue out the main components, and then keep them fixed for a long time.
For decoration purpose, you could add river stones, plants or anything that goes well for the flowing water.
Another Idea – Seashell Fountains.
You have to start off with a large glass bowl or pot, make sure it is waterproof. Glass bowls are the most preferred here. You will need a large shell like the Conch seashell and some other jumbled mix of shells. Then, drill a hole in the main shell, and make sure that it is large enough to get the tube to pass through. Once you get that, you can stop the drilling.
Attach one end of the tube on the pump, and with the other end on the shell. Seal the tube and then finish off the fountain construction with rocks and other waterproof decorative items.
